L George is a traditional Cornish butchers that has been owned and operated by the same family for over 100 years, making it one of the oldest and most trusted names in Cornwall. Our butchers shop has remained in the small village of St Newlyn East throughout this time.

From our shop and mobile service we offer a huge choice of meats. Whether you require a mouth-watering roasting joint for the best Sunday roast, the perfect sausage for your sizzling hot dogs or the ultimate burger for your summer barbeque, we’ve got something that’s just right for you.

Looking for the best in local produce? Here at L George Butchers we source animals from local farms of grass fed Angus, North Devon and Hereford cattle. They produce some of the tastiest dry-aged beef – a process that produces exceptionally tender and flavourful cuts.

We have traceability for all the animals that come to us, and all our meats are sourced from only the best farms to ensure optimum quality and freshness. We also cater for special dietary requirements, including gluten free produce.
