Recipe: Pork Stir Fry

Ingredients:

Get creative with your cooking

A great way to use pork steaks is to thinly slice and marinate, and then use them as part of a stir fry. Serve with noodles or rice.

For the marinade:
(This is enough for 1 pork steak – double up for two)
– 2 tsp dark soy sauce
– 1 tsp rice wine vinegar
– 1 tbsp molasses or honey
– 1 clove garlic
– 1 inch fresh ginger
– 1/4 tsp black pepper
– 1/2 tsp corn starch (optional, but helps the marinade coat the meat and vegetables)

Method:

Marinate for at least an hour or overnight.

Fry the meat and marinade, then add vegetables of choice. Here I used mushrooms, spring onions, red pepper, red chilli and pak choi. Add the mushrooms and spring onions first and cook, then the red peppers and chilli, and the base of the sliced pak choi. Finally add the leaves thinly shredded. Toss with the cooked noodles and serve.
